This case was great when I got it for almost a week. Then I realized how cheap the rubber material is and it became loose! Do a google search on switcheasy and you’ll see so many people have the same issue. $25 for a case to use for one week! Do your research. I got the new Vaja case

SwitchEasy Rebel Silicone Covered Crystal Case for iPhone 3G, 3G S (Serpent Black)

This is a great case but make sure you order it from one of Amazon’s approved Vendors

because if you order directly from Amazon it takes forever to ship. I ordered the serpent and the rebel devil iphone cases in one order but one shipped from MyGearStore and it arrived in 3 days but the Serpent model came directly from Amazon and it took over a week.

  3. Pros:

    - Sturdy case

    - lots of goodies:

-> Comes with uni dock, connector protector, 2 screen protectors, microfiber, and nifty video stand

    - looks great!

    Cons:

    - the volume and on/off buttons do not ‘click’ when pressing as some video reviews have indicated. Very disappointed in this

    - a little more slippery than i expected

    - unless you put the screen protector on within 1/10 of a millimeter, you will get bubbles on the side when snapping on the case. i’m pretty exact in things i do and even i wasn’t able to get it right after 2 tries. it looked perfect but once i put the case on, the right side began to bubble and by that point, it’s a lot of work to go back and start over and not know if you got it right until you snap everything together again.

just barely but worth the $30.

Note: i was very disappointed in the seller’s shipping policy. i opted to pay the extra $5 to upgrade from free shipping to standard (the next step was $10 for 2-day which i did not take since it was Tuesday morning and since USPS runs on Saturday assumed it would easily be here by then at the very worst case). i ordered at 10am Tuesday morning. The next morning, USPS site indicated it picked it up on Tuesday and it sat in the KY warehouse on Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun (expected), and finally released/delivered on Monday. I.e. it took over 6 days to travel from KY to NC. I looked on USPS site and there are three options the seller could have used:

    - Priority Mail: 2 day delivery for $4.95

    - Priority Mail Small Flat Rate box: 2 day delivery for $4.95

    - Parcel Post: 5 day delivery for $4.95

So instead of using Priority Mail for the exact same price, the seller sent it as Parcel Post…idiotic.

I had been looking for another case for my iphone for some time when I came across the Rebel. I had previously used a leather case but the velcro wore out and I wanted something a little more accessible. I wasn’t sure about the Rebel at first because it wasn’t real easy to get the iphone inside the case. I run daily so I move the iphone from the case to an armband and it did become easier with practice. I like the grips on this case much better than other hard cases. If it was a little easier to get out of the case I would give it 5 stars.

I really wanted to like this case but the fit is terrible. It looks great on paper but pass on this case. To start with the screen cover was impossible to get on bubble free and after wrestling with it for a half hour, I gave up and decided to try and live with the bubbles. After trying twice to close the gap at the bottom of the phone, I gave up and snapped on the spine. I currently have about an 1/8″ gap on the bottom of the phone between the spine and the soft case on each side. At times the spine on the back shows 1/16″ gaps or greater between the soft case. These gaps have already shown themselves to be dirt magnets and I will be replacing this case shortly. “EXTREMELY OVERPRICED” This case shouldn’t sell for more than $10. Don’t be fooled by the pictures the fit of this phone really sucks.
